Terrorism Preparedness: Effecting Local Response From a National Plan

The Forum will be introduced by Dr. Robert Westphal, of the University at Albany School of Public Health and Center for Public Health Preparedness and moderated by Peter Slocum, Vice President for Advocacy — American Cancer Society. Participants include:

  • Carolyn Callner, Deputy Commissioner—Schenectady County Department of Health
  • Eric Stein, CEO—Cobleskill Basset Hospital (formerly at Ellis)
  • Wayne Triner, MD—Professor and physician, Albany Medical College

The goal of the broadcast and forum is to share discussion on national preparedness planning in light of the events of and since 9/11 2001.

Who Should Attend:
The broadcast will reach a national audience, including at least 28 states and 25 NYS local health departments.
