Chemical and Radiological Awareness Training for Public Health Professionals
May 16-18 , 2005
This course (very similar in content to last year's offering) will provide participants with information on chemical and radiological threats and response from the public health professional's perspective. Course material will cover:

- HAZMAT - HAZWOPER Basics
- Psycho-Social Aspects of Terrorism
- Risk Communication
- Drills and Exercises
- ChemPak
- HERDS

Registration and Fees: There is NO charge for attendance, but participants are responsible for their own travel & lodging plans and expenses.
Registration is still open for this event . Space is limited to 75 participants, with priority given to local health department BT Coordinators, Environmental Health Staff and Public Health Response Team members. All participants are expected to complete ICS 100 prior to the course(online version of course which can be completed in 90 minutes is available thru NYSEMO web-site).
