Upcoming Events

In September 2000, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) partnered with the Association of Schools of Public Health to develop a national network of public health preparedness centers. Funded by CDC since 2002, the University at Albany Center for Public Health Preparedness provides highly relevant emergency preparedness training, resources, and assistance to public health professionals and their community response partners across New York State and the nation. The Center has established itself as a national leader in the production of high-quality, award-winning educational programs, including in-person trainings, satellite and archived presentations, interactive, web-based training and academic courses. The Center also provides technical assistance related to planning and implementing drills and exercises, as well as evaluation support for all the above activities.

For more information about the Center and upcoming events, please visit our new website. Links to enduring resources — including our broadcast library and interactive online courses in our eLearning Center — can be accessed by buttons on the left.

The University at Albany Center for Public Health Preparedness is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), cooperative agreement 5 U90 TP224249. The contents of these programs are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of the CDC.
