  1. Recognize the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding as the foundation for improvement in hospital maternity care practices.
  2. Identify two important steps that interested hospitals can take to begin preparing for participation in the NYS Breastfeeding Quality Improvement in Hospitals Learning Collaborative.
  3. Describe hospital benefits derived from participating in the NYS Breastfeeding Quality Improvement in Hospitals Learning Collaborative and adopting the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding as the standard of care.
