“A structurally competent approach to Latino and Latina health requires working with community groups that are already advocating for health, and recognizing the differences among communities in different parts of the state. In this webinar, two representatives from community-based nonprofit organizations in upstate New York will describe the barriers to health and healthcare care that upstate Latinos and Latinas face in their everyday lives, and the approaches they are using to overcome them. Participants will gain an understanding of the communities these two organizations serve, and come away with ideas for how they might collaborate with local health advocates.”
