Promoting Cancer Screening: Office Systems for Success

Presenters:

At the conclusion of the presentation, the participants will be able to:

  1. Describe components of successful systems (EMRs, office staff involvement, tracking, reminders to MD and patient.) to increase compliance with guidelines.
  2. Present a practice that has a systematic process for assuring cancer screening is provided for all eligible patients from screening to follow up.
  3. Discuss provider and patient barriers to cancer screening and practical strategies for addressing barriers.
