Vaccinology 101

Presenters:

At the conclusion of the presentation, the participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the function of antibodies and T cells in vaccine-induced protective immunity.
  2. Identify the differences between responses to polysaccharide vaccines and protein-polysaccharide conjugate vaccines.
  3. Classify vaccines into broad functional categories (live and inactivated) and identify the differences between them.
