“Health care providers play a critical role in controlling the spread of infectious disease through early and accurate diagnosis, appropriate treatment and prevention counseling. The intent of this webcast is to ensure that providers are updated on emerging infectious disease threats, ensure their practices have a standardized approach to reporting infectious diseases to local health departments and to know where to access resources to maintain reporting compliance.”
