Psychiatric Manifestations of Parkinson's Disease and Its Treatment

At the conclusion of the presentation, the participants will be able to:

  1. Recognize the biologic underpinnings of psychiatric symptoms of Parkinson’s disease;
  2. Identify at least three strategies to reduce the psychiatric adverse effects resulting from treatment for the disease; and
  3. Describe the impact on quality of life and care-giver burden resulting from the psychiatric symptoms of the disease.
