At the conclusion of the presentation, the participants will be able to:

  1. Recognize the burden of arthritis in New York State.
  2. Discuss physical activity as a strategy to improve arthritis symptoms and decrease joint pain.
  3. Summarize tools for promoting physical activity and counseling people with arthritis, including the Exercise is Medicine® framework
  4. Identify referral opportunities to arthritis-appropriate evidence-based physical activity programs.
