Preparing for Extreme Heat in New York State

At the conclusion of the presentation, the participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the extent of extreme heat occurrences in NYS and the nation;
  2. List at least three health risks associated with extreme heat;
  3. Identify populations who are most vulnerable from the health effects from extreme heat; and
  4. Name at least two initiatives to address the health risks of extreme heat.
